Additional signs of bursitis include:
Pain - The inflamed bursa will usually be quite painful.
Warmth - The swelling will feel warm to the touch.
The risk of getting bursitis in your foot increases if you match any of the following:
Weakness in surrounding muscles - You will have difficulty in using the muscles around your affected bursa.
Difficulty moving/using the affected area - The swelling and muscle weakness makes your range of motion smaller in the affected area.
