I would very much like to write a review for your cold wraps since they have been such a help to me. I am an avid tennis player that has this year suffered from both elbow and achilles tendonitis. For years I've been the best in my club but once my tendonitis set in I just couldn't compete. I tried creams and pain killers and bands but they didn't get me better. Foot Bursitis Diagnosis

If you think you have bursitis in your foot, see your doctor. He or she will carefully examine your foot for an inflamed bursa, and probably ask you for your medical history. He or she may also give you an X-ray or MRI, and might also use a syringe to take a sample of the fluid in your inflamed bursa to test for septic bursitis (bursitis caused by an infection).

Major ways of identifying bursitis in general are the visible swelling and tenderness of the bursa, as well as pain when you move or strain the affected area.

Keep in mind: in cases where bursitis appears on the back of the ankle, the pain you feel might also be Achilles tendonitis. Your doctor will be able to tell you exactly what the problem is.

The bursa is a sac filled with lubricating fluid, located between tissues such as bone, muscle, tendons, and skin, that decreases rubbing, friction, and irritation.
